Kathryn Claus, DVM

Kathy Claus, DVM

. . . graduated from Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She is licensed in Oregon and Washington.

Dr. Claus has been in the veterinary medical field since 1982. Although she chooses to maintain her practice in general veterinary care focusing on cats and dogs, she also continues to pursue advanced education in soft tissue surgery, laser surgery and veterinary ophthalmology.

Dr. Claus works diligently to remain current on the latest trends and procedures in veterinary medicine. Her compassion and communication skills help you and your family of pets feel at ease and make educated decisions about your veterinary care.

Dawn Evert, DVM

 

. . . earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Washington State University in 2007. Prior to veterinary school, she studied at Central Washington University where she earned her BS in Biology in 2002 and her MS in Biology in 2005.

Prior to joining our practice in 2009, Dr. Evert worked for 2 years at a private practice in Ellensburg, WA and was a relief veterinarian for an emergency hospital in Yakima, WA. She also enjoyed working with the pre-veterinary club Central Washington University and taught a class in the Biology department at CWU.

Dr. Evert’s family includes her husband, Andrew, and one-year-old daughter, Katie, as well as their dog, Radar, and cat, Oni.  Dr. Evert and her husband also teach and train in Shudokan karate at their school, Vancouver Shudokan Academy.  Dr. Evert currently holds a second degree black belt in karate. She also loves quilting, reading, and especially being Katie’s mom.

Dawn Evert , DVM is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
